Eram Park, also known as Eram Amusement Park, is a large recreational complex and the biggest theme park in Iran, located in western Tehran along the Tehran–Karaj Freeway and founded in 1972. It spans about 70–72 hectares and mixes a traditional amusement‑park style layout with a zoo, a scenic lake, and significant green spaces, offering more than 120 rides and attractions across several lunapark‑style sections for children and adults, including roller coasters, wheel‑based rides, and thrill devices. The park also includes Tehran Zoological Garden, with over 110 animal species and hundreds of individual animals, plus an approximately 8–9 hectare lake where visitors can canoe, kayak, row, and try barefoot or cable skiing, all surrounded by cafés, restaurants, and family‑friendly open areas that make it a popular day‑trip destination for local families and school groups.
