Felsődobsza-Várdomb is an ancient fortified hill site located near the village of Felsődobsza in northeastern Hungary.

Archaeological research has shown that it dates to the Middle Bronze Age and was associated with the Hatvan and Füzesabony cultures, making it an important prehistoric settlement and defensive location. The site sits on a narrow, steep-sided ridge that once formed part of a larger earthwork fortress.

Although much of the original fortification has been damaged over the centuries by quarrying and other human activity, remnants of the defensive earthworks can still be seen today. Archaeologists have investigated the area since the 19th century, uncovering artifacts and evidence of long-term human occupation.

These discoveries have helped researchers better understand prehistoric life in the Hernád Valley region. Today, Várdomb is valued as an archaeological and cultural heritage site. Visitors can enjoy its elevated position and panoramic views while exploring a place that preserves traces of Hungary’s ancient past.
