The Forstbotanischer Garten in Hannoversch Münden, Germany, was established in 1868 alongside the founding of the Royal Prussian Academy of Forestry and formally opened in 1870 on a 5.25-hectare site.

It was damaged and fell into disuse during both World Wars, with parts used for vegetable cultivation after World War II. Today, the garden holds around 700 trees and bushes, representing numerous rare and exotic species from around the world, making it a notable arboretum. Since 2015, it has also served as the headquarters of the Münden Nature Park, with modern facilities designed with sustainability in mind.

The garden remains an important destination for dendrologists and visitors interested in forestry and botanical diversity, featuring various habitats including a lake, marsh area, and alpine rock garden. It is open all year round and free to enter, offering educational and recreational opportunities to the public.​
