Frogmore House and Gardens is a royal residence and landscaped estate about half a mile south of Windsor Castle, within Windsor Home Park in Berkshire.

The house dates from the 1680s and has been a royal retreat since 1792, when it was purchased for Queen Charlotte, and it later became a favourite country retreat for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert. The 35‑acre gardens are laid out in a picturesque 18th‑century style, with lakes, wooded glades, mounds, bridges, and an ornamental “ruin” that in fact conceals a summer and tea house built for Queen Victoria.

The grounds also contain the Frogmore Mausoleum, a private royal burial place for Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, and the property is used today by the Royal Family for private entertaining and as part of the wider Frogmore estate, which includes several cottages. The house and gardens are open to the public only on a limited number of pre‑booked charity days each year or for organised groups.
