Greiffenberg Castle is a medieval castle ruin located in the Greiffenberg district of Angermünde in Brandenburg, Germany.

Built around 1224 on a hill overlooking the Welse valley, it served as the ancestral seat of the noble von Greiffenberg family and played an important role in the historic border region between Brandenburg and Pomerania. Over the centuries, the castle changed hands several times and suffered damage during conflicts, including the Thirty Years’ War.

Although much of the fortress has disappeared, significant remains have survived, including parts of the keep, gatehouse, foundations, walls, and sections of the surrounding moat system. Today, the ruins are a popular historical attraction and event venue. Visitors can explore the remains of the castle, enjoy views of the surrounding Uckermark landscape, and learn about the site's long history through local preservation efforts and cultural activities.
