Grosscomburg Monastery, also known as Comburg, is a former Benedictine monastery located on a hill above the Kocher Valley near Schwäbisch Hall in Baden-Württemberg.
Founded in 1078 on the site of a noble castle, it grew into an important religious and cultural center during the Middle Ages and later became a noble collegiate foundation. The monastery is renowned for its impressive fortified appearance, historic church of St. Nicholas, and valuable treasures, including a famous Romanesque wheel chandelier and a richly decorated gold antependium.
