The Hindenburg Wall is a dramatic limestone escarpment located in the remote Western Province of Papua New Guinea, near the town of Tabubil and the border with Indonesia. It stretches roughly 50 kilometers along the edge of the Star Mountain Range and rises to about 1717 meters above sea level.

This striking natural feature is part of the larger Hindenburg Range and is known for its towering cliffs, waterfalls, dense rainforest, and a remarkable diversity of wildlife. Surveys have identified over 1100 plant and animal species in the area, with many potentially new to science. Although isolated and seldom visited, efforts are underway to promote sustainable tourism, including developing walking tracks and local accommodations supported partly by royalties from the nearby Ok Tedi copper and gold mine.

The Hindenburg Wall is recognized for its exceptional natural beauty, complex geology, and ecological significance as a relatively undisturbed habitat in Papua New Guinea.
