Walindi Plantation Resort is a small, family‑owned dive resort on the shores of Kimbe Bay in West New Britain, Papua New Guinea, about 20 minutes by road from the town of Kimbe. It sits on a former coconut plantation along a quiet stretch of coastline, surrounded by lush rainforest and offering a relaxed, intimate feel with a limited number of bungalows and simple, traditional‑style rooms that include private verandas, ensuite bathrooms, and basic Western comforts such as fans and small kitchens. The resort is world‑known for its access to some of the richest and most diverse coral‑reef diving in the world, with daily boat dives to nearby Kimbe Bay reefs as well as snorkeling, fishing, and trips to see WWII wrecks, village visits, thermal springs, and volcano hikes, all supported by a central hub with a restaurant, bar, swimming pool, boutique, and basic Wi‑Fi.
