The Hunnewell Visitor Center, also known as the Hunnewell Building, is a historic and architectural landmark located at the Arnold Arboretum in Boston, Massachusetts.

Designed by architect Alexander Wadsworth Longfellow Jr. and funded by Horatio Hollis Hunnewell, a banker, horticulturist, and philanthropist, the building was constructed in 1892 to serve as the administrative, educational, and archival hub of the Arboretum. It features distinctive masonry and classic architectural details and has housed various departments over the years, including public programs and horticulture.

The building is part of the Arnold Arboretum’s mission to blend botanical research, public education, and preservation in a beautiful historic setting. Extensive restoration efforts in recent years have preserved its structural integrity and historical character while maintaining its use as a visitor center, lecture hall, and library, ensuring it continues to serve as a welcoming gateway for visitors and a center for learning about the Arboretum’s living collections.​
