The Iowa Arboretum in Madrid, Iowa, is a nonprofit public garden and natural preserve that spans 160 acres, established in 1966 by the Iowa State Horticultural Society to serve as a statewide arboretum.

The arboretum features a large collection of over 6,000 trees, shrubs, and perennials grouped into 19 themed sections such as a Butterfly Garden, Children's Garden, Conifer Garden, Herb Garden, and extensive native woodlands and prairies. It offers walking trails, woodland paths, and natural areas including ravines and streams, making it a year-round destination for nature lovers and families.

In 2024, the arboretum opened Treehouse Village, an elevated play area with suspension bridges, enhancing the visitor experience. The Iowa Arboretum is recognized for its educational programs, conservation efforts, and scenic beauty, offering visitors a tranquil and enriching environment to explore diverse plant species and natural habitats.
