Jakobuskirche is the main Protestant church of Auenstein, a district of Ilsfeld in Baden-Württemberg.

The current church building was completed and dedicated in 1832, replacing an older St. James church that likely dated back to the 13th or 14th century and had become structurally unsafe. The church stands in the center of Auenstein and serves as the spiritual and community hub of the Evangelical parish.

Over the years, it has undergone several renovations, including a major interior redesign in 1968–69 and the addition of a parish extension in 2004 to support church activities and children’s services. Today, Jakobuskirche remains an important historic and religious landmark, reflecting both the long Christian tradition of Auenstein and the continuing life of the local congregation.
