The Jardín Botánico de Pinar del Río is a 62-hectare botanical garden located on the outskirts of Pinar del Río city in western Cuba, founded in 1999 on the former La Cabaña estate of Hoyo de Guamá.

It serves as a vital biodiversity reservoir and environmental research and education center, housing over 1,300 plant species including both endemic Cuban flora and exotic plants, with about 10% being endemic species and plans to eventually gather up to 6,000 species representing most Cuban vegetation. 

The garden is part of Cuba's national network of botanical gardens under the Ministry of Science, Technology and Environment, promoting knowledge exchange and strengthening conservation efforts across the country. Visitors can explore interpretive trails, take guided tours, and participate in educational activities that connect them directly with nature while learning about the region's diverse ecosystems, including forests, mogotes (limestone hills), rivers, and coastal areas.
