The Sancti Spiritus Botanical Garden is a nature and conservation site located just a few kilometers from the historic center of Sancti Spíritus city in Cuba, covering 97 hectares with seven hectares of preserved natural forest.

The garden houses a unique collection of about 4,000 endemic, medicinal, and ornamental plants representing some of the most representative species from all over Cuba, along with a singular collection of the island's flora including unique specimens. It serves as both a conservation center and research institution, with a herbarium that guarantees flora protection through various research projects while meeting the scientific and technical needs of local and foreign visitors who want to learn about native Cuban vegetation. 

The garden's experts conduct ecological analysis of Cuban terrestrial ecosystems, carry out surveys and in situ studies to strengthen biodiversity throughout Sancti Spiritus and Cuba, and successfully reproduce many local species with more than three individuals in their live plant collection to preserve the environment.
