Juqueí, also known as Juquehy, is a popular beach neighborhood in the municipality of São Sebastião, on the northern coast of São Paulo state, Brazil.
It lies along the Atlantic Ocean between the beaches of Barra do Una and Praia Preta, about 45–50 kilometers from the city center of São Sebastião, and is known for its roughly 3‑kilometer stretch of fine white sand, clear turquoise waters, and a lively but relaxed seaside atmosphere.
The beach is backed by a mix of small hotels, inns, restaurants, bars, and beach kiosks, offering a family‑friendly vibe with calmer areas on one side for swimming and more intense waves on the other that attract surfers and water‑sports enthusiasts. Juqueí is also surrounded by lush Atlantic Forest and rolling hills, making it a pleasant base for combining beach time with hiking, nature walks, and tasting local seafood‑based cuisine.
