Kreuzweg Maria Zell
Hechingen, Germany, Germany
Kreuzweg Maria Zell is a modern Way of the Cross leading up to the historic Wallfahrtskirche Maria Zell near the village of Boll, about 1.5 to 4 kilometers south‑east of the town of Hechingen in Baden‑Württemberg, Germany.
The path, laid out in 2001, consists of 14 carved stone stations along the uphill route to the pilgrimage church, which stands on a steep slope directly below the Zeller Horn and with a clear view of Burg Hohenzollern. Roughly in the middle of the Kreuzweg lies the Marienbrünnele, a small spring chapel built in 1974 where visitors can pause and drink from the local mineral water.
The whole route serves both as a devotional walk for pilgrims and as a quiet, scenic ascent for hikers, combining religious reflection with the natural landscape of the Swabian Alb.
