Kūh-e Belqeys is a high mountain in northwestern Iran’s Zanjan Province, near Takht-e Soleymān, and its twin peak rises to about 3,300 meters above sea level.
It is also known for an old fortress on or near the mountain that dates to the Sasanian period, making the site important for both its natural landscape and its history.
