Kyoto Garden in London, located within Holland Park, was opened in 1991 as a gift from the city of Kyoto to celebrate the long-standing friendship between Japan and Great Britain.

The garden was designed by Japanese landscape architects in the traditional "stroll garden" style and features a tiered waterfall flowing into a large pond filled with colorful koi carp. Elements such as stone lanterns, cherry and maple trees, and a small bridge that winds across the water create an authentic and tranquil Japanese atmosphere.

The garden is well-known for its vibrant seasonal displays, including the pink cherry blossoms in spring and the fiery red maples in autumn. It is a peaceful green space in the city, appreciated for its beauty and cultural significance as a symbol of international friendship.
