Lady Robinsons Beach
Sydney, Australia, Australia
Lady Robinsons Beach is a long, city‑side ocean beach along the western shore of Botany Bay in southern Sydney, stretching roughly 5 kilometres from the mouth of the Cooks River down to the Georges River.
It runs through the suburbs of Kyeemagh, Brighton‑Le‑Sands, Monterey, and Ramsgate, and is considered Sydney’s longest continuous beach, with a mix of narrow sand in front of a seawall and wider sections where beach‑nourishment projects have added extra sand.
The beach is mostly calm and family‑friendly, backed by a broad foreshore reserve called Cooks Park with a continuous path, barbecues, picnic tables, playgrounds, and a number of netted tidal pools, making it a popular local spot for swimming, walking, cycling, and relaxed beach days rather than powerful surf.
