Leonardslee Lakes & Gardens is a large Grade I listed woodland garden estate of about 240 acres located near Horsham in West Sussex, set in the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and just off the A273.

The gardens were first laid out in the early 19th century and are famous for their dramatic rhododendron and azalea scenery, as well as fine camellias, magnolias, and bluebells that create vivid spring and autumn displays.

The site follows a wooded valley with seven natural lakes linked by nearly 10 miles of paths, alongside a historic Italianate house, a major rock garden, a sculpture park, and a small adventure‑themed play area, with wallabies and deer roaming freely across parts of the estate.

After a 10‑year closure, the gardens reopened in 2019 following one of the most extensive garden restorations in England, and now operate as a premium visitor destination offering walks, dining in a Michelin‑starred restaurant, family days out, and a hotel‑style stay in the main house.
