Leong San Tong Khoo Kongsi, often called Khoo Kongsi, is a large and ornate Chinese clanhouse in George Town, Penang, Malaysia, built in the mid‑1800s by the Khoo clan, one of the leading Hokkien families in the city.

It stands as the largest and most richly decorated clan temple in Malaysia, with a highly detailed prayer hall, a central courtyard, an opera stage for performances, and surrounding rows of heritage shophouses. The complex blends traditional southern Chinese temple architecture with European‑style decorative elements, using carved timber, stone dragons, plasterwork, and bright colours to create a striking “Sino‑colonial” look.

Originally established as a place for ancestral worship, community gatherings, and ceremonies, it later became a symbol of the Khoo clan’s prosperity and identity in the diaspora and is now a key cultural landmark and museum within the George Town UNESCO World Heritage zone.
