Babeldaob Island (Melkeok), Palau

---

The Lighthouse at Cape Melkeok, located on the eastern coast of Babeldaob Island in Melekeok State, is a coastal landmark known for its scenic views of the Pacific Ocean and the rugged shoreline of Palau.

Positioned near the nation’s capital region, it offers visitors a peaceful setting to enjoy ocean panoramas and the natural beauty of the island. The surrounding area is characterized by sandy beaches, rolling hills, and lush tropical landscapes that are typical of eastern Babeldaob. The lighthouse serves as a popular viewpoint where travelers can appreciate the dramatic coastline and experience the quieter, less-developed side of Palau.
