Moghavey Castle, also known as Sheikh Sultan Castle or Sheikh Sultan Al-Marzooqi Castle, is a historic fortress located near Bandar Lengeh in Hormozgan Province on Iran’s Persian Gulf coast.

It was built in 1903 during the Qajar era by Sheikh Sultan Al-Marzooqi, a local ruler appointed to help protect the region and its important maritime borders. The castle has a large rectangular design spread over three floors and was constructed mainly from clay, mud, and wood. It includes numerous rooms, inner and outer courtyards, wind towers, a guard tower, wells, and a bathhouse, reflecting both defensive needs and traditional Iranian-Islamic architectural styles.

Today, the castle is recognized as a national heritage site and remains one of the notable historical landmarks of the Bandar Lengeh region. Although it requires ongoing preservation and restoration, it continues to showcase the cultural and historical heritage of Iran’s southern coastline.
