The Museo Forestale e Arboreto Carlo Siemoni in Badia Prataglia is a forest museum and historic arboretum in Tuscany’s Casentino area.

The museum explains the local woods, wildlife, geology, and traditional forest work, while the arboretum beside it was created in the 1800s by Karl Siemoni as a place to test and acclimatize trees from Italy and abroad. It is especially notable because it is considered Italy’s oldest arboretum and includes about 139 tree species across roughly three hectares, including giant sequoias, Spanish fir, and Japanese cedar. Today it is valued as both a scientific collection and a historic green space linked to the management of the Casentino forests.
