Museums Schloss Aschach is a historic castle complex in Bad Bocklet, Bavaria, whose origins date back to the 12th century. Originally a medieval castle, it was later transformed by the Prince-Bishops of Würzburg into an administrative residence and hunting lodge, before becoming the summer home of the noble von Luxburg family in the 19th century. Today, the site is a museum complex featuring three museums: the Graf-Luxburg Museum, which showcases aristocratic life; the Folklore Museum, which explores the everyday lives of rural Rhön communities; and the School Museum, which presents the history of education through historic classrooms and exhibits. Surrounded by attractive grounds and a castle park, Museums Schloss Aschach offers visitors a fascinating look at regional history, culture, and social life, making it one of the most important heritage attractions in Lower Franconia.
