Naples Botanical Garden in Florida is a 170-acre garden founded in 1993 by local plant enthusiasts and officially opened in phases starting in 2009 on land donated near downtown Naples.
It features themed gardens representing tropical and subtropical ecosystems between the 26th parallels north and south, including Brazilian, Caribbean, Asian, and Florida native habitats. The garden is renowned for its lush displays of orchids, water lilies, and native plants, as well as the Sonne Family Ghost Orchid Boardwalk where endangered ghost orchids are being restored.
With a mission focused on conservation, education, and inspiring protection of nature, the garden hosts over 260,000 visitors annually. Facilities include the Kapnick Brazilian and Caribbean Gardens, the Florida Gulf Coast University Research and Education Center, gift shops, and a café, making it a vibrant destination for plant lovers and families.
