The National Museum of Guinea, also known as the Sandervalia National Museum, is located in Conakry's Kaloum district near Ignace Deen Hospital and serves as the country's primary repository for cultural heritage.

Housed in a colonial-era building from 1896 linked to explorer Aimé Olivier de Sanderval, it displays traditional artifacts like masks, musical instruments, pottery, and everyday objects representing Guinea's diverse ethnic groups such as the Fulani, Malinke, and Susu, alongside colonial-era statues of historical figures.

Though many rooms remain sparsely filled due to past losses from political instability and coups, the site features an outdoor courtyard with sculptures, a small artisan shop selling handicrafts, and occasional exhibits on regional housing models and sacred items, offering visitors a modest glimpse into Guinea's pre-colonial and independence-era history.​
