National Trust - Plas yn Rhiw
Wales, United Kingdom
Plas yn Rhiw is a small 17th‑century manor house on the Llŷn Peninsula in northwest Wales, set above the village of Y Rhiw and overlooking Cardigan Bay and the beach of Porth Neigwl.
It is now owned and managed by the National Trust and is known for its intimate manor‑house interior, a beautifully kept one‑acre ornamental garden, and surrounding woodland and parkland that together make up a Grade II‑listed historic landscape.
The property was restored in the 20th century by three sisters who later gave it to the Trust along with several hundred acres of coastline, and today visitors come mainly for the peaceful garden, coastal views, and short walks through the estate rather than for a grand stately‑home experience.
