Tatton Park is a large historic estate in Cheshire, England, north of Knutsford, that includes a neo‑classical mansion, 50 acres of landscaped gardens, over 1,000 acres of deer park, a medieval Old Hall, and a working rare‑breed farm.

The estate has been home to deer since the 13th century and was owned by the Egerton family for centuries before being bequeathed to the National Trust in the 20th century, with day‑to‑day management now carried out by Cheshire East Council.

The mansion contains grand state rooms, fine art, and a complete servants’ wing, while the gardens feature a Japanese Garden, an Italian garden designed by Joseph Paxton, a fernery, a rose garden, a maze, and several themed pleasure grounds. 

The park is a popular day‑out destination with families, offering walks, wildlife, farm animals, and regular events, all set within a sweeping, scenic landscape that blends formal gardening with open countryside.
