Nature Coast Botanical Gardens
Spring Hill, Florida, United States
Nature Coast Botanical Gardens in Spring Hill, Florida started in the 1990s when the Spring Hill Garden Club was granted a 4.5-acre piece of land to create a botanical garden and plant nursery.
The gardens have grown to include 22 distinct themed garden areas organized along a looping pathway, featuring palms, wildflowers, a rose garden, an Asian garden, a butterfly garden, and more.
Maintained entirely by volunteers and supported through grants, donations, and plant sales, the gardens offer a peaceful, pet-friendly sanctuary with benches, gazebos, and picnic areas frequently used for weddings and community events. Visitors can enjoy the lush tropical landscaping and naturally inspired spaces that reflect the character of Old Florida, all open to the public free of charge year-round from dawn until dusk.
