Neues Schloß Hemerten
Münster, Germany, Germany
Neues Schloss Hemerten is a historic castle located on the Gut Hemerten estate in Münster, Bavaria. Built in 1908–1909 by architect Ernst Robert Fiechter, it was designed as a grand summer residence for the von Schnurbein family and combines elements of historic German Renaissance architecture with elegant early Art Deco interiors. The castle features three stories, corner towers, and a landscaped park surrounded by walls, creating an impressive country estate setting. After the family’s city residence in Augsburg was destroyed during World War II, the castle became their permanent home. Today, Neues Schloss Hemerten remains a privately owned and protected historic landmark.
