Parc Singleton Park
Sketty, Swansea, UK, United Kingdom
Parc Singleton Park, known in English as Singleton Park, is the largest urban park in the city of Swansea, Wales, located in the Sketty area and covering about 250 acres of green space.
It features a mix of expansive lawns, mature woodland, and formal gardens, including a central walled botanical garden, an ornamental garden near the entrance to Swansea University, and an Italian‑style garden, all set around a boating lake and a miniature golf course in the southwest.
The park was once part of the Singleton Estate owned by the Vivian family and was purchased by Swansea Council in 1919, with horticulturist Daniel Bliss shaping its layout; today it is a Grade‑I listed historic park and a popular local venue for walking, picnics, sports, and large events such as outdoor concerts and community festivals.
