Nusa Penida is a rugged, enchanting island off the southeastern coast of Bali, forming part of the Klungkung Regency in Bali Province, Indonesia. Separated from the mainland by the Badung Strait, this 202-square-kilometer island is the largest of the three Nusa Islands, alongside Nusa Lembongan and Nusa Ceningan.

What makes Nusa Penida truly captivating is its dramatic topography—steep limestone cliffs, hidden white-sand beaches, and lush hills that rise to Mount Mundi at 524 meters. The island is famed for iconic natural landmarks like Kelingking Beach, with its T-Rex-shaped cliff, and the surreal seascapes of Broken Beach and Angel’s Billabong.
