Pigeon Island Beach
Saint Lucia, Saint Lucia
Pigeon Island Beach is the main shoreline of Pigeon Island, a 44‑acre national landmark and former islet in the northern part of Saint Lucia, near Gros Islet and connected to the mainland by a causeway.
The beach runs along the causeway and offers soft sand, calm turquoise water, and views across Rodney Bay toward Martinique, with options to rent sunbeds and umbrellas and enjoy casual local food and drinks from nearby bars.
Within the Pigeon Island National Landmark park, there are also two smaller, quieter beaches as well as hiking trails, historic French and British fort ruins, and lawns shaded by coconut and sea‑almond trees, making it both a beach destination and a scenic, historic day‑trip site.
