Praia de Barequecaba is a coastal strip in the neighborhood of Barequeçaba, in São Sebastião on the northern coast of São Paulo state, Brazil.

The beach has a long, firm, dark‑colored sand that is perfect for walking, jogging, and casual beach games such as football and frescobol. Its waters are famously calm and shallow, with depth increasing very slowly so that even after walking dozens of meters into the sea the water is often only waist‑high, making it ideal for children and people who prefer a gentle, “pools‑like” sea.

The view faces Island of São Sebastião (Ilhabela), framed by hills and remnants of the Atlantic Forest, and the area has several beachfront hotels, pousadas, and simple food stalls that keep the atmosphere relaxed but still convenient for families and summer visitors.
