The Prinzessinnenpalais (Princesses’ Palace) is a historic palace located on Berlin’s famous Unter den Linden boulevard.

Originally built in the 1730s and expanded in the early 19th century, it served as a residence for members of the Prussian royal family, including the daughters of King Frederick William III, from whom it gets its name. The palace was heavily damaged during World War II and later reconstructed in the 1960s.

Over time, it has been used for various purposes, including as a museum and cultural venue. Today, the building houses PalaisPopulaire, Deutsche Bank’s art and cultural forum, which hosts exhibitions of modern and contemporary art as well as cultural events. Its blend of royal history, restored architecture, and contemporary culture makes it a notable landmark in central Berlin.
