Przyszów is a village in southeastern Poland's Subcarpathian Voivodeship, Nisko County, Gmina Jeżowe, located on the left bank of the Łęg River near Puszcza Sandomierska forest.
First mentioned in the 14th century by Jan Długosz, it features the site of a royal castle built around 1350 by King Casimir the Great as a hunting lodge with a tower and residential building surrounded by a wooden palisade and marshes for defense.
Visited by the king in 1358 and later Jagiellons, it evolved under Hetman Jan Tarnowski into an economic complex with ironworks before destruction by Tatars, Swedes, and Cossacks, with the dilapidated ruins dismantled in the 18th century for a nearby monastery.
