Radków is a small town in southwestern Poland's Lower Silesian Voivodeship, Kłodzko County, nestled in the Stołowe Mountains foothills along the Pośna stream at 250-370 meters elevation, about 20 km northwest of Kłodzko and near the Czech border.
Dating to the 11th century as a possible Slavic gord guarding trade routes, it received town rights around 1320-1333, developed defensive walls by the early 15th century, and gained royal privileges from Wenceslaus IV in 1418 amid shifts between Polish Piasts and Bohemian rule.
Ravaged by Hussites in 1425 and Hungarians in 1469, it prospered in cloth-making before suffering Thirty Years' War devastation, Prussian incorporation in 1815, and post-WWII repopulation by Poles after German expulsion, now blending historic churches with tourism near Table Mountains trails.
