RHS Garden Hyde Hall is a large public garden run by the Royal Horticultural Society in Essex, about halfway between Chelmsford and South Woodham Ferrers, set on a 360‑acre hilltop site with sweeping views over the surrounding countryside.

It was created on a difficult, windswept patch of gravel and clay and has been transformed into a diverse collection of themed areas, including a notable Dry Garden with drought‑tolerant plants, herbaceous borders, a rose garden, woodland sections, lakes, and a Sky Meadow designed to attract birds and wildlife.

The garden is family‑friendly and laid out so visitors can explore many different styles, from formal traditional beds to modern, ecology‑driven planting, with a garden centre, café, and restaurant on site for longer visits.
