RHS Garden Rosemoor
UK, United Kingdom
RHS Garden Rosemoor is a 65‑acre public display garden in north Devon, about a mile south of Great Torrington, run by the Royal Horticultural Society.
It began as a private garden in the 1930s and was given to the RHS in 1988 by Lady Anne Berry, who had built up a huge collection of plants from her travels around the world. The garden features a big rose garden with around 2,000 rose plants, a woodland garden, an arboretum, herb and vegetable plots, an alpine house, and a lake, all set inside a much larger area of surrounding woodland and farmland.
Visitors can enjoy seasonal displays, activities for children, plant‑sales areas, a restaurant and tea‑room, plus events such as festivals, exhibitions, and illuminated winter‑garden nights.
