Rotes Schloss is a historic manor-style castle in Jagsthausen, Baden-Württemberg, built between 1572 and 1590 by Hans Reinhard von Berlichingen, a grandson of the famous knight Götz von Berlichingen.

Located near the older Götzenburg castle, it served as a family and administrative residence rather than a military fortress. The castle is named for its distinctive red-colored lower facade and features architectural elements from the Renaissance period, with later additions made in the 18th century. Historic wall paintings from its early years are still preserved inside the building.

Today, the Rotes Schloss remains associated with the Berlichingen family and is home to a restaurant and event venue. As one of Jagsthausen’s three notable castles, it is an important part of the town’s cultural heritage and historic character.
