Rusenschloss Blaubeuren is the common name for the ruins of Hohengerhausen, a medieval hilltop castle located on a rocky spur about 150 meters above the Blautal near Blaubeuren in Baden‑Württemberg, Germany.

The site dates back to the 12th or 13th century and now consists mainly of scattered masonry and low walls, with no intact residential building, so visitors see a romantic, atmospheric ruin rather than a fully preserved fortress.

From the ruins one enjoys a wide view over the Ach and Blautal valleys, and the walk up from the Blautopf or nearby Gerhausen is a popular short hike that often includes passing forested paths and viewpoints such as the Knoblauchfels. Beneath the castle rock lies the Neandertal‑era cave known as the “Große Grotte,” which adds an archaeological dimension to the otherwise scenic outing.
