Sa'dabad Cultural and Historical Complex is a large former royal estate in northern Tehran, near Tajrish, set at the foot of the Alborz Mountains. It began in the Qajar period, was expanded by the Pahlavi rulers, and after the 1979 revolution it became a public museum complex with palaces, gardens, and collections of historical objects.
