Sajónémeti Várhegy is a historic hill rising above the village of Sajónémeti in northern Hungary, near the Sajó River.

The site contains the remains of an earthwork fortification that once occupied a strategically defensive position overlooking the surrounding landscape. Archaeologists believe the hill may have been used during multiple periods, including the Middle Ages. The fortification appears to have consisted of two mound-like defensive structures.

Some researchers suggest that one may date back to before the Mongol invasion of Hungary, while later defenses were possibly strengthened by Hussite forces in the 15th century. Although no major castle buildings survive today, the earthworks remain visible and are an important local historical landmark. The hill is also associated with local legends about King Matthias and hidden underground passages, adding to its cultural and historical appeal.
