Schloss Ahlsdorf
Schönewalde, Germany, Germany
Schloss Ahlsdorf is a historic Baroque palace in the village of Ahlsdorf, part of Schönewalde in Brandenburg, Germany.
Built in 1709 and expanded around 1720, it developed from an earlier fortified noble residence and became one of the most distinguished aristocratic estates in the region. The palace is surrounded by a large landscaped park of about 15 to 18 hectares, featuring rare trees, a historic tea house, and the restored Siemens family mausoleum.
The estate is closely linked to the Siemens family, including Johann Georg Siemens and banker Georg von Siemens, one of the founders of Deutsche Bank. Today, Schloss Ahlsdorf remains privately owned and is used for weddings, events, and cultural gatherings. Its well-preserved architecture, historic interiors, and scenic park make it a notable heritage landmark in southern Brandenburg.
