Schloss Baldern, also known as Schloss Hohenbaldern, is a historic castle located on a hilltop near Bopfingen in Baden-Württemberg, Germany.

First mentioned in the 11th century, it was originally a medieval fortress and later became the residence of the Counts of Oettingen-Baldern. Between 1718 and 1737, the castle was transformed into an impressive Baroque palace, giving it much of the appearance it has today. After the Oettingen-Baldern family line ended in 1798, the property passed to the princely House of Oettingen-Wallerstein, which still owns it.

Today, Schloss Baldern is known for its beautifully preserved state rooms, scenic gardens, and one of Germany’s largest private collections of historic weapons and armor. Open to visitors through guided tours and cultural events, it is one of the most important historical landmarks in the Bopfingen area.
