Schloss Bimbach
Prichsenstadt, Germany, Germany
Schloss Bimbach is a historic castle in the village of Bimbach, part of Prichsenstadt in Bavaria’s Franconian region. The site was first recorded in the 14th century as a moated castle and became the ancestral seat of the noble Fuchs von Bimbach family, who played an important role in the area's history. The castle was damaged during the German Peasants’ War in 1525 and later rebuilt as a Renaissance residence. In the early 18th century, it was extensively remodeled in the Baroque style, creating much of the elegant appearance seen today. Today, Schloss Bimbach remains one of the notable architectural landmarks of the Kitzingen district. Surrounded by its historic grounds and reflecting centuries of noble heritage, it serves as a reminder of the region’s rich cultural and aristocratic past.
