Schloss Essingen
Germany, Germany
Schloss Essingen is a historic manor house in the center of Essingen, Baden-Württemberg.
Built around 1555 by Hans Konrad von Woellwarth-Lauterburg on the site of an earlier medieval castle, it served as the residence of the noble von Woellwarth family, which played an important role in the region for centuries. Also known as the Woellwarth Castle or Lower Castle, the building is a three-story former noble residence that reflects the history of local aristocratic life.
One of the property's most attractive features is the adjoining Schlosspark, a roughly four-hectare park with impressive mature trees. Together, the castle and park form an important cultural landmark and a central part of Essingen’s historical heritage.
