Schloss Eyrichshof is a historic castle located just north of Ebern in Bavaria, Germany. Originally developed as a fortified moated residence in the 14th century, it became the home of the noble von Rotenhan family, who have owned the estate for more than 700 years. The castle was damaged during the German Peasants' War in 1525 but was rebuilt and transformed into an impressive Renaissance residence. Later Baroque additions and the creation of an English-style park in the 18th and 19th centuries gave the estate much of its present appearance. Today, Schloss Eyrichshof is one of the region’s most notable historic landmarks. While still privately owned and inhabited, it hosts cultural events, weddings, and seasonal festivals, and is admired for its elegant architecture, landscaped grounds, and long connection to the von Rotenhan family.
