Schloss Fischbach is a small historic castle in the village of Fischbach near Ebern in Bavaria, Germany. The estate has been associated with the noble von Rotenhan family since the Middle Ages and has remained in their ownership for centuries. It became an important residence after the destruction of the family's ancestral Rotenhan Castle in 1323. The castle was damaged during the German Peasants’ War in 1525 and subsequently rebuilt, forming the core of the Renaissance-style building seen today. Over the centuries it underwent further changes, including repairs after fires and war damage, while retaining its role as a family residence. Today, Schloss Fischbach is a privately owned landmark that forms part of a picturesque estate with a church, farm buildings, and surrounding countryside.
