Schloss Großlaupheim is a historic baroque castle complex in Laupheim, Baden-Württemberg, that today houses a local history museum (including an exhibition on the town’s Jewish community and a display about Carl Laemmle), a cultural centre in the renovated former economy building, the city archive and a café, all set around a romantic rose garden and courtyard.

The site evolved from a medieval fortress destroyed in the 1525 Peasants’ War and was rebuilt and remodelled into its present baroque form in the 18th century by local noble families, with later restorations adapting parts for modern cultural use.

Visitors come for the museum’s focused regional displays, regular events and open-air festivals held in the castle courtyard and park, while the Kulturhaus offers flexible spaces for performances and conferences for groups from about 30 up to 700 people.
